Oh mah goodness!

It seems as though I've neglected to update.

Mostly due to the fact that I've been busy learning new things and making Christmas presents!!

I haven't been cooking much lately on account of laziness, however I did pick up knitting, crocheting, and making scarves out of scraps of fabric.

I made a scarf out of fabric for my friend, Andrea, but I did not get to snap any photos of it before giving it to her, because I was just really excited. Next time I see her in it I'll have to take photos. Unless I end up making one for myself, which is very probable, seeing as though if she wasn't my best friend I'd probably have ended up keeping the thing for myself. :P

Anyhoo, this Christmas was a great success. For a lot of reasons! My brother is staying with us at my dads house because my mom has been staying in Hawaii. She took a last minute vacation, and has been doing things like this ever since I left around 6-7 months ago. Oh well!

I'm almost finished knitting a scarf for my dad for Christmas, it's nearly done. I have to take photos of this one because it's my first knitting project and it's coming out really nice looking. The multicolored yarn makes it look like I put zig-zags of burgundy and tan into the black. It's coming along really well.

On the cooking front, I recently purchased two bags of strawberries and blueberries. I'm going to experiment with them because I also bought a lot of flower and a 10lb bag of sugar.

So be prepared for new recipes!

I also need to write down the recipe for this really nicely made spicy soup that I came up with one day after I had a little container full of veggies like tomatoes, squash, carrots, celery, and etc. It was like a small vegetable dipping tray with ranch dressing, and I even went so far to add the ranch dressing into the soup. It came out surprisingly delicious. I'll have to try to remember it.

Anyway(again), I've been drawing a lot too lately, maybe I'll put those up.

Well, it's about time I put a photo of something up, so up there is a collage of angles from a camera case I crocheted the other day. It's my first finished crocheted project, and I'm very proud of it. I didn't have an exact pattern for it, I just kind of started crocheting a single chain stitch(or whatever it is, I'm not that technical with the terms yet), made a bunch of rows, folded the thing to make it look like the case, and crocheted the sides together. And added a button with some messy threads. I'll even go so far as to say the mess was on purpose, but you wont believe me.

I promise I'll start taking more photos of the things that I've been doing, give you more recipes, and talk about fun stuff. Hehe. For now I've got to finish making a scarf and a pot holder and a belated messenger bag for my boyfriend that has been promised for a few months now!

Anyway, have a great holiday, and I'll post again sometime next year. :P

Goodness gracious.
There's probably something wrong with me when I don't even check for comments on my own JOURNAL.

Give me your camera dimensions and I'll make one for you for FREE. Depending on if it actually comes out well or not, because I haven't crocheted much these days!

!!!

I'm quite flattered though!
Also I apologize greatly for never looking at this thing.
From now on I'm going to check it at least once every 2 days. Hopefully that isn't too much of a task for me.
:p

Just tell me the color sir! Chances are I've got the yarn for it :p
I've gathered quite a collection.

Maybe I'll MSN this to you or something because it's a lot quicker than remembering to check this post every month.
